What the extension does
| Feature | How it works |
|---|---|
| One-click autofill | A key icon appears in login fields; pick an account and it fills — including two-step sign-ins where the password is on the next screen. |
| Saves new logins | After you sign in somewhere new, it offers to save the login to your vault. |
| Strong passwords on sign-up | On sign-up forms it offers a 20-character generated password and fills both password boxes. |
| 2FA codes | Stores authenticator (TOTP) secrets and fills or copies the 6-digit code after the password. |
| Fill shortcut & right-click | Ctrl+Shift+F (⌘+Shift+F on Mac) fills the best match; right-click a field for matching logins or a new password. |
| Team sharing | Shared folders and per-password sharing with view, edit or login-only access. |
| Touch ID / Windows Hello | Unlock with your fingerprint on trusted devices; the master password is still asked every 14 days. |

Permissions, in plain English
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
| Read and change data on sites you visit | To find login and sign-up forms, show the key icon and fill the login you pick. Page contents are never sent to BobWork. |
| Storage, alarms | Keeps your encrypted vault and auto-lock timer on this device. |
| Tabs, favicons | Knows which site you’re on to suggest the right logins, and shows site icons. |
| Context menus | Adds “BobWork Vault” to the right-click menu on login fields. |
| Privacy (optional) | Only if you turn on “Turn off Chrome’s own autofill”, so two password managers don’t compete. |
