Questions
What is BobWork Vault?
BobWork Vault is a free, zero-knowledge password manager for teams made by BobWork (BobOffice, LLC). It has a Chrome extension for autofill and a web vault at vault.bobwork.ai.
Is BobWork Vault free?
Yes. Personal use and team sharing are free.
Is there a BobWork Vault Chrome extension?
Yes — the official extension is on the Chrome Web Store: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/idgfkdacdjjmfejnpcgbijbnfgplkolb
Who is BobWork Vault for?
Small and mid-size teams that share logins for tools like Google Workspace, social accounts, ad platforms and SaaS — and want to stop pasting passwords in chat.
How is BobWork Vault different from a browser's built-in password manager?
It is built for teams: shared folders, view / edit / login-only access, an audit log, guided offboarding and password health across the whole organisation — all end-to-end encrypted.
What is login-only sharing?
A teammate can sign in with a password the extension fills for them, without being able to see or copy it.
Can BobWork see my passwords?
No. Everything is encrypted in your browser before upload; servers store ciphertext only.
Does it support 2FA codes?
Yes. Save an authenticator (TOTP) secret with a login; the extension fills or copies the 6-digit code.
Can I unlock with Touch ID?
Yes, on supported devices you can unlock with Touch ID or Windows Hello. The master password is still required every 14 days.
How do I invite my team?
Admins open Settings › Team › Invite teammate, paste one or more emails and choose which passwords or shared folders each person gets.
Can I move from Zoho Vault, 1Password, Bitwarden or LastPass?
Yes — export a CSV and import it. See vault.bobwork.ai/import.
What if I forget my master password?
It can't be recovered unless your organisation enabled admin-assisted recovery and you enrolled. Keep the Emergency Kit offered at sign-up.
Which browsers are supported?
The extension runs in Chrome, Edge, Brave and Arc. The web vault works in any modern browser.
